Announcing new Funding Opportunity: Sussex Cancer Fund x SCRC Awards

We are excited to announce a new round of funding provided by the Sussex Cancer Fund (SCF) in partnership with the Sussex Cancer Research Centre (SCRC). The aim of these awards is to support innovative and impactful cancer research for the benefit of people with cancer.

Funding is available across two brackets:

Awards up to £60k: For projects with significant input from doctors, nurses, or allied health professionals, OR projects with an short term route to patient benefit.

Awards up to £20k: For projects that do not meet the above criteria but still maintain a strong rationale for how the work will benefit people with cancer.

Joint funding of projects is encouraged.

Deadline to Apply: 28th August 2026
