The SCRC is delighted to announce its 3rd Symposium, celebrating our growing community of cancer researchers across the University of Sussex, University of Brighton, BSMS, and local NHS Trusts.contact us

This event will showcase cutting-edge cancer research, collaborations, and innovations taking place across Sussex. Researchers, clinicians, students, and our local communities are warmly invited to join us for an inspiring day of talks, networking, and discovery.

Posters

There will be an opportunity to present your research to the cancer research community across Sussex during our poster sessions. Two prizes will be available. One award will be made for the best research poster. One award will be made for the best non-expert abstract, which will be assessed by people with lived-experience of cancer.

Travel

Bicycle: There are cycle lanes running all the way from Brighton city centre along Lewes Road (A270) to Moulsecoomb and on to Falmer. On campus there are plenty of covered cycle stands monitored by CCTV. Beryl BTN Bikes are available to hire across all our Brighton campuses.

Bus: The 24, 25, 28 and 49 run frequently from central Brighton. The number 24 links the Moulsecoomb campus with Varley Park halls of residence. For timetables and student fares visit the Brighton and Hove Bus Company website.

Train: The closest station is Moulsecoomb and there are up to four trains an hour from Brighton to Moulsecoomb (4 minutes). You can get unlimited train travel around the city using the Unizone ticket. For timetables check National Rail Enquiries.

Car: There is limited permit-controlled car parking on campus. Delegates are encouraged to use bikes and public transport. To get the best route for your journey use the postcode: BN2 4GJ
